Recreation
Facilities:
  |
This is the Hub of all major student
activities in the campus. It is always humming with students –
playing table tennis, carrom or racking brains with chessboards or
practicing with the in-house college music band |
|
…or working out
on strategies for seminars and debates or simply hanging out and
gossiping; definitely the most lively place on the campus…!

|
Boys Common Room(BCR)
:
|
| The B.C.R., which is a picturesque
heritage structure, was built by Rustomjee Jeejibhoy, eldest son
of Sir J.J. in 1864 as an Infectious Disease Ward…! It houses
the offices of the General Secretary & the Cultural Secretary.
Furnished by the aid of Mr. Parmanand Ahuja, it has two large
halls utilized for various games, sports, events and celebrations.
Right in front of it is the Volleyball court. |
|
|
|
After a hectic day of clinical
postings, lectures & practicals, the B.C.R. provides the
perfect place for one to simply chill out & relax. It is the
fulcrum around which all student activities rotate, especially
during “astitva”
when it has a complete festive look and atmosphere.
|
| Ladies
Common Room (LCR): |
|
A strict “no entry” zone for all
males and most of the girls gather here to gossip and have their
lunch. With a homely atmosphere and welcoming look, the Ladies
Common Room is just the place for the young budding female doctors
to unwind after a grueling day of postings, lectures and
practicals. It is equipped with a state-of art badminton court on
the first floor. Many often miss out the building of the L.C.R.,
which is cushioned between the PWD offices and the pharmacology
lecture hall. It once served as an autopsy room !
