Services Provided:
- Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching for Medical students in areas of Community Medicine
- Special trainings for Nursing students
- Urban Health Center (UHC), Bandra: It is involved in providing Preventive and Curative services to the community as well as Teaching of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students and Community based projects. It has 50 bedded hospital. The depart
- Rural Health and Training Center (RHTC), Palghar: It is established in the year 1956 by Department of Preventive & Social Medicine. It is located around 120 kms from Mumbai on Western Railway. It provides of Primary and Secondary Health care services, training for Medical Interns and Nurses. It has 16 bedded Maternity Hospital with 4 functional subcenters.
- Anti Rabies OPD for vaccination against Rabies located at Ground floor, Hospital Building, J.J. Hospital, Mumbai. The OPD provides vaccination against Rabies, Tetanus. Hepatitis B vaccination is also done in ARV OPD for staff and students.
- Drop in Center for HIV/AIDS patients: For care, support, advocacy, training, counselling and empowerment of PLWHA. This center was managed in coordination with NACO. Currently, this services has been discontinued.
- Active involvement in Epidemic Control measures
- Disaster Management: Planning, training, co-ordination with professional bodies

- M.D. in Preventive & Social Medicine: 2 per year
- Diploma in Public Health (DPH): 4 per year

Future Plans:
1. Planning to start “Geriatric Clinic” in OPD Complex at J.J. Hospital for providing preventive, promotive and curative services to geriatric patients attending J.J. Hospital, Mumbai.
2. Also Planned for “Adult Immunization OPD” at OPD Complex, J.J. Hospital, Mumbai.
3. “Maternal and Child Health Project” at Rural Health and Training Center (RHTC), Palghar.
