HISTORY

Sir Cowasji Jehangir Ophthalmic Hospital (CJOH) was first started in the year 1866. Extension was done in the year 1908. The present building was constructed at the same and partly equipped in the year 1930. The Col.Sir Jamshedji Duggan Govt.eye bank was inaugurated by Smt.Vijayalaxmi Pandit, Governor of Maharashtra on 1st October 1964.
