THE OPTHALMOLOGY DEPARTMENT

The Department of Ophthalmology, Grant Medical College, JJ Group of Hospitals is very active in the cause of decreasing the incidence of treatable blindness in the country and providing quality eye-care as can be ascertained from the facts and figures that follow. Presently, the Ophthalmic department consists of 4 units, 2 at Sir J.J Hospitals and 1 each at G.T.Hospital and St.George’s Hospital.

The Department of Ophthalmology is involved in various projects involving community eye care. The various projects are :

  • RURAL PROJECT
