to the patients admitted to the various wards of the
hospital.

lectures are given to nursing and medical students.
Training
Programme:
Six months internship programme offered to students who
have completed their physiotherapy
degree course from reputed colleges.
Future
Plans:
Efforts are
underway to start a four year BPTH degree course with
an intake capacity of 30 students every year.
Proposals have
also been submitted for upgradation and modernization
of the physiotherapy department.
Information
to Patients:
We have well
equipped and spacious physiotherapy department.
Patients are referred to the department from different
OPDs. Patients are also guided to visit other OPDs as
per their individual cases/problems.
Treatment is available at a nominal fee of Rs. 10 (as per
government order). Below Poverty Line (BPL) patients
are treated for free.
